2007 Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament

Make Plans Now to Attend Memorial Day Weekend

From , former About.com Guide

Memorial Day weekend in the waterskiing and wakeboarding world is infamously known for the annual prestigious invitational Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament held at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia. 2007 is no exception for this May 25-27 event.

This is the premier water ski and wakeboard tournament in the world and the Southeast Tourism Society voted the Masters one of their Top 20 Events several times in the past.

Competitors in this tournament, presented by Correct Craft, Inc., are considered the world's finest in waterskiing and wakeboarding. These athletes originate from more than 10 countries and will compete for cash and prizes in excess of $200,000.

View the 2006 Masters winners or see photos from previous Masters events.

Tickets to the Masters are available at the gate or in advance by visiting www.masterswaterski.com or calling 1-888-806-2783. Preferred Pavilion Passes are limited and are available on a first-come basis.

Bring the whole family because there is a lot more to see and do at Callaway Gardens than just watch the Masters. Golf, a spa, the Discovery Center, Butterfly Center, gardens, trails, dining and more are all available. I've personally attended the Masters several times and thoroughly enjoyed myself each time at Callaway Gardens. For more information about Callaway Gardens and overnight accommodations, call 1-800-CALLAWAY or visit our web site at www.callawaygardens.com.
