Dock Start

Definition: When a water-skier, wakeboarder, or barefooter begins his run by first being pulled in the water by a boat while he is standing or sitting on a dock, or on shore.
Examples: The wakeboarder want to wait as long as possible before they were totally immersed in the cold water so they decided to do a dock start instead of a deepwater start.
