- The Water Ski Hall of Fame and Museum is located off Interstate 4 in Polk City, Florida, just 20 miles West of Disney World in Orlando.
- The Water Ski Hall of Fame and Museum opened in 2002 and allows visitors to take a walk through the history of the American-born sport of waterskiing. See how the sport has evolved through the years by way of static displays, hands-on interactive exhibits, and audio-visual productions.
Also on-site is a library containing books, films, magazines, and audio and video tapes documenting the evolution of waterskiing.
On your way out stop by the gift shop for souvenirs.
- Memorabilia displayed include the first pair of water skis worn by the "Father of Water Skiing", Ralph Samuelson, dating back to 1922. You'll also see a 1954 Correct Craft ski boat, ropes and handles dating back to the 1920s, athlete biographies, and much more.

Admission is $5 for adults. Discounts are given for children and seniors.

- This building also houses the administrative offices for USA Water Ski, the national governing body of water skiing, and the American Water Ski Educational Foundation.
A water sports ski lake was completed in 2005 and hosts tournaments, demonstrations, clinics, technical testing, and more.
