Playstation Announces Wakeboarding Game

JVC and Metro will be releasing a wakeboarding video game for the Sony PlayStation this December for European and Australian markets. This authentic wakeboarding simulation, dubbed BursTrick, provides the user with a choice of six different wakeboards and five different contestants with even more choices available after extensive play. BursTrick provides riders the means to perform over 40 different moves behind the boat and offers two separate sections to test the rider's electronic boarding skills; Obstacles and Tricks.

The Obstacles section has the rider racing against the clock while performing aerial stunts and collecting rings to rack up the score. Riders will fight for control of the board in 14 different settings, such as the calm waters of exclusive harbors, the narrow straights of Venice and the jungles of Africa. Riders will also have to deal with annoying personal water craft and speed boats in hazard strewn marinas.

The Trick section has riders performing all kinds of outlandish moves against a strict time limit. This event tests your speed and reactions to achieve increasingly difficult points targets.

To help new riders get up to speed, BursTrick provides a comprehensive training section to perfect the rider's wakeboarding skills before they hit the "real thing."
