Does the change of seasons cause you to waterski or wakeboard differently? I'm not talking about the amount of clothing/gear you wear while participating in boat towed sports, but rather your on-the-water performance.

Water density depends on the water temperature. Density decreases as water gets colder. For more explanation see these Density of Water charts. So, with this in mind, water skis, wakeboards, and other boat towed sports equipment may react differently in different water temperatures.

TxRiverRat writes in the forum, "What is your opinion on water temps?  It seems that now that the water is starting to cool down in North Texas, my "slump" is slowly going away...  I ran my 1st 22' off pass in 6 weeks this afternoon, and the water at the ski lake was about 5 degrees cooler than where I normally go... Anyone else experience this?"
