Quick Tip: Getting the Shot

Do you ever look through the wake and waterski magazines and wonder how they capture such amazing photos? Sometimes you have to get a little closer to the action to get the money shot. So here are a few quick tips for getting amazing photos on your next outing.

Bring Out the Tube. If you have a camera with waterproof housing, try riding out on a tube with a shorter tow rope. This will allow you to get shots from underneath the rider, and gives you a much more dramatic angle.

Jump on the Jet Ski. Having a Jet Ski at your disposal is also a great way to tail the rider and get a variety of different angles. Just make sure you get someone else to drive you while you take the pictures.

Take a Wider View. There are a lot of wide angle lens attachments on the market and they all help you create an illusion of bigger airs and dramatic scenery.

These are just a couple tips, but take a moment to tell us what you do in order to get the best shots in the comments.
