The Dangers Of Teak Surfing

Teak surfing is growing in popularity and is performed by hanging on the swim platform (teak) on the back of a boat and body surfing the wake. The danger comes in as this is the area of the boat in which is filled with potentially deadly carbon monoxide and more and more people are dying as a result on inhaling the fumes. Should this sport be illegal?
